I've been looking forward to seeing this since I heard J.J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias, Lost), was taking the directing duties for this 3rd installment. I was already excited when I heard they were going thought with another one. Tom hasn't been the most popular guy since expressing his feelings and views publicly (jumping on couches and calling Matt Lauer glib); but, I have always been a fan of Mr. Cruise's movies and always will be, because he is a great entertainer. In MI3 he continues to do what he does best and I think this one is the best of the series. The story is centered on Ethan Hunt's new life/wife and he reluctantly, although willingly, gets involved in another impossible mission which gets his new life/wife involved (a very J.J. Abrams kind of plot). The movie never slows and remains easy to follow the whole way. Philip Seymour Hoffman is great as the bad guy; but, I did feel he was under used. Over all a very entertaining and fun thrill ride a great way to start the big blockbuster roller coaster for the year.
