Wackness, The

2008

In the midst of a midlife crisis, psychiatrist Dr. Squires (Ben Kingsley) forms a relationship with teenage drug dealer Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck), who trades his product for therapy sessions. Luke falls for the doctor's daughter, and the doctor falls for Luke's teen friend (Mary-Kate Olsen). Drugs, depression, relationships and New York City are the focus of this comedic film (winner of the Audience Award: Drama at Sundance) from sophomore director Jonathan Levine.

Sometimes it's right to do the wrong things.
