Junbao (Jet Li) and his friend Chin Bo (Siu-hou Chin) are raised as monks in a Shaolin monastery. But after being wrongfully accused of fighting with weapons, both are banished from the temple and go their separate ways. Betrayed by Chin Bo, Junbao discovers the martial art of tai chi -- but it can't eliminate his anger.
