Chinese folk hero legend and kung fu master Wong Fei-Hung (Jet Li) reappears with his sidekick (Max Mok) and his fiancèe (Rosamund Kwan) -- this time, to help defend his father's kung fu school against a rival gang and win the prestigious Lion Dance competition. Meanwhile, he's out to thwart a plot by Russian imperialists to oust the empress -- all the while making sure that a Russian suitor doesn't steal his girl.
