It was everything it was hyped up to be. Some of the dialog was a little less than great (to be expected); but, who goes to see Star Wars for the dialog. The action was nice, I actually forgot I was watching tons of special effects for a while and was tied up in the story; which unites the new trilogy to the older one very well. I would definitely put it next to V as one of the best of the series. It was very dark and explained Anakin's fall to the dark side very well. Ian McDiarmid was great as the Emperor, and of course Yoda rocks, SO much better than that rubber freak from EP I, and further developed than EP II.
