Future, The

2011

Sophie and Jason are in their mid-30s, childless and stuck in jobs that were supposed to be `just for now' - she teaches dance to kids, he operates an IT helpdesk from their shared home - but have seemingly set them on a road to nowhere. The realisation that, if they want to make something of their lives, they need to find direction hits with a jolt. One upshot is that they decide to adopt a down-on-its-luck cat.
