It's Pygmalion for a new millennium when unassuming San Francisco teenager Anne Hathaway (of TV's "Get Real") learns she's heir to the mantle of the tiny European principality of Genovia. The gawky teen gets a makeover from a newfound grandmother (Julie Andrews), and it's off to the races with more social gaffes and slapstick than you'd find in a Three Stooges film festival.
