When 5-year-old Julian (Dylan and Cole Sprouse) is left in the care of Sonny (Adam Sandler), the superslacker babysitter decides to prove his maturity to his girlfriend by adopting the boy. Unimpressed, the girl splits -- but Sonny decides to go ahead with parenting. Trouble soon ensues, however, with beautiful Layla (Joey Lauren Adams) and Sonny's best friend (Jon Stewart) -- who's also the boy's real father.
