The attack on Pearl Harbor is told through the eyes of pilots/friends Rafe (Ben Affleck) and Danny (Josh Hartnett). Before America enters the war, Rafe volunteers in Europe, where he gets shot down and is presumed dead. When he returns, he finds Danny in love with his ex (Kate Beckinsale). Through the turmoil of Pearl Harbor, the two try to resolve their differences.

It takes a moment to change history. It takes love to change lives.
