Wanting only the best for her wedding, the outrageously rich Fran Donolly (Bridgette Wilson-Sampras) hires San Francisco's premiere wedding planner, Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez). While planning the nuptials, Mary is rescued by and immediately attracted to Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey) -- a pediatrician who seems to be Mary's perfect match. But Mary is dealt a devastating blow when she meets Fran's fiancè -- Steve.

His big day is her big problem.
